Binghamton University School of
Management in partnership with area experts is offering a seminar in transition
planning for closely held businesses.
These businesses are a primary driver for growth in the local and
regional economy. In order to enhance
value it is essential for small business owners to ensure a succesful
transition. Presentations include state
of the art material in areas such as estate planning, business valuation,
wealth management, role of life insurance, exit planning process and business
sale to a third party. The sessions include case analyses and are designed
to be highly interactive and are primarily targeted to owners of privately held business with more than
one million dollars in annual revenue.
